Tesoro Estate
Former McBurney, then Noyes House, believed to be built in 1912. The house won the “House Beautiful” award for the year 1922. Purchased by the Tesoro family 1949. There were 24 rooms in the main house and 5 rooms & 2 baths over the 3 car heated garage. The Estate consisted of 14 acres of property on the East Side of Bayview Avenue. (The last house on the street before the wetlands?) Sold to developers. the Mansion burned to the ground in 1976.
